Epsilon Tau siblings are known for their own, personal drive to better the world and fight for justice. Whether that's taking a semester off of college to work for the Hillary Campaign like Jessie, protesting against fossil fuels like Kat, working to save Ohio's only national forest like Jess, or some other worthy cause -- we like to keep activism in the family. We all call on each other for support in the fights we believe in. There's power in numbers, and we are a group that's always ready to put peaceful action behind our words. We are a family of do-ers and change makers. We know how to get a good job done and we'll do it with a smile on our face.

So what if we have 10 hours of community service required for each member every semester? It's all too easy to get involved.

Yeah, it's local too.

Locally we have been involved in projects to benefit water.org. Water.org is a nonprofit that works to provide drinking water for families and villages throughout the world so that their girls can go to school.

It's also National.

Alpha Sigma Tau has a long
history of service since its founding by a
group of Michigan schoolteachers in 1899.

The Epsilon Tau chapter at Kenyon College remembers this history by supporting our National Philanthropy, the Pine Mountain Settlement School and our National Service Project, Habitat for Humanity. The Pine Mountain Settlement School is known for providing hands-on experiential education and ecology classes in Appalachia, while Habitat for Humanity is well known for its work in providing homes for families that need them.

With us, it's personal.

We believe in protecting natural resources and water because water is life.
